Build-a-Drone (BaD) is here to expose middle school students to current STEM professionals and feed their curiosity about the growing world of unmanned vehicle technology. This program implemented with STEM mentors that have expertise in drone technology, and 10-12 middle school students. Students selected for the program meet bimonthly.

• have A or B averages,
• have plans to attend college,
• have no or very few disciplinary infractions,
• can read and write at their grade level,
• have time open to attend each mentoring session, and
• exude integrity and kindness toward their peers.
